The Future Won’t Create Itself—Our Wish List for 2026

As we set our sights on 2026, we aim to confront abuse, expand human rights and ensure truth flows freely in the new year.

“The future is a beautiful playground that nobody happens to be combining. You talk about virgin territory—the most virgin territory there is, is the future. You can do anything you want with it.” —L. Ron Hubbard

Freedom fights for human rights and positive social change.

Our investigative floodlights expose those persons and groups that harm society and undermine human dignity.

So as the planetary odometer clicks from 2025 to 2026, let’s do something about the future.

That kind of civilization cannot be achieved without decisive action.

L. Ron Hubbard wrote: “A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology.”

Freedom’s reporting exists to help make such a civilization possible.

That kind of civilization cannot be achieved without decisive action. And so, our goals for 2026:

A world where human rights and religious freedom anchor the conscience of the planet.

A world where substance abuse is confronted at its source—not by criminalization, legalization or throwing in the towel, but with effective education that begins before lives are shattered.

A world where information flows freely—without delay, distortion or obstruction—from an honest government, covered by an ethical media.

A world where lawmakers and law enforcement work together to firmly shut the doors on human trafficking and psychiatric abuse.

A world where the headlines bring news of peace, not war; of progress, not regression; of trust, not suspicion.

And a world where every house of worship can open its doors wide without fear, and where differences in color, custom and creed are applauded, not decried.

Were we to do no more than scratch the surface of these aims, 2026 may be remembered for centuries as the year the world turned the corner toward hope—and where Dr. King’s arc of the moral universe took a sharp bend toward justice.

Will all this happen in the coming year?

That depends.

“The best way to know any future is to cause one,” Mr. Hubbard wrote.

It’s up to us.

Let’s cause a beautiful 2026.
